Re-engining of helicopter
powerplants
Order service
Armada-Group carries out re-engining of powerplants for helicopters. We work with powerplants of a single type — this ensures compatibility with the aircraft structure and compliance with the requirements of aviation regulators.
Powerplant selection
Engine selection is based on two key factors — service life and the customer's budget:
- Operating service life. We take account of the planned intensity of operation and the required powerplant service life — and select an option that makes the fullest use of the helicopter's capabilities without exhausting its service life prematurely.
- Budget. We offer solutions across different price segments: from engines with restored service life to new units — so that you can choose the option with the best total cost of ownership, taking into account installation and subsequent maintenance costs.
Re-engining stages
- Removal of the old powerplant. We carry this out in accordance with the process sheet, retaining components suitable for reuse.
- Installation of the new powerplant. We install the engine with verification of all connections and mounting parameters.
- System setting up and testing. We carry out adjustment and calibration and verify the operation of all interfacing systems.
- Testing. We perform ground and flight checks to confirm normal operation of the powerplant.
Documentation processing
On completion of the work we provide a full set of documents for returning the helicopter to service — including reports, test records and entries for service life accounting.
